Their home is probably one of my favourite houses I have ever been in, curated to their taste (and mine) ;) their fur babies were also a very welcome sight. Marissa, Stefan and their 3 beautiful girls were in front of my camera and it was a dream to photograph them!

The beautiful Van Staden Family came for a session with me, this little family is very dear to me, Leandri, my previous assistant are these girls aunt and it was so great to connect with them while I am missing her like crazy, thank goodness for facetime coffees!

It is wonderful to blog this shoot, it was shot in early February, with my favourite camera, my Contax 645 film camera #nodigital. After my workshop I decided that I had to shoot something for me, something good & simple. This shoot was inspired by things I found around my house and with people who I create with often. Thank you to Jana, Jolindi & Leandri for all your help on this shoot!
