ANIMALS & HUMANS
Probably the best part of the job is being able to have our animal friends in front of the camera. From our beloved fur children to the Gentle Giant, Chova the Elephant.
I am so honoured to be able to photograph Hilma and Inge’s journey, starting with their engagement session, photographed in Nelspruit, at a wildlife reserve with a lucky couple of shots with the zebra’s roaming in the area. I also got to photograph Hilma’s two sweet Wirehaired Fox Terriers with the cutest little bowties. Their wedding day will follow in July by the sea. So much to look forward too.

Patrick & Caitlin are from New York, they're an adventurous couple who decided to elope while they visited South Africa. I had the honour of capturing their elopement at the Lion Sands River Lodge, the ceremony was held in a dry river bank with the beautiful backdrop of elephants gracing on the river bank! They also enjoyed their honeymoon night in a very romantic tree house over the Lion Sands Game Reserve.
A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot and realize how blessed you are.
It is wonderful to blog this shoot, it was shot in early February, with my favourite camera, my Contax 645 film camera #nodigital. After my workshop I decided that I had to shoot something for me, something good & simple. This shoot was inspired by things I found around my house and with people who I create with often. Thank you to Jana, Jolindi & Leandri for all your help on this shoot!

This was a summer holiday session by the dam near their house over the December holidays, it was amazing hanging out with them again. Danie & Eloise are both so fit and ripped - my lens loved it! You can view a couple of their other sessions from previous shoots.
This is such an adventure every time I get to photograph couples and families with the Elephants! Here is Lerato with her pregnant belly and her beautiful family!
Meet baby Emily, her parents, Nadia & Craig, tied the knot in March of 2015 and now they have this beautiful little addition to their family!
Oh this family! I have known them for 11 years and its been a pleasure to be a part of their special memories!
