Today I am blogging my beautiful cousin Zelmarie’s wedding to Riaan. They are such an amazing couple and I just loved being a part of their big day. They got married on our family farm and get this, the ceremony was smack bang in the middle of a fairway. Family & friends, gorgeous light, a stunning see through marquee and beautiful flowers made this wedding absolutely breathtaking.

GREY AND GREEN LOWVELD WEDDING

Winter in the Lowveld is the absolute best. We celebrated the marriage of Jacques & Anzel this past winter and it was a blissful day! A beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony with the perfect weather and the scenic view of a golf course and the Crocodile River made this day even more special.

BUSHVELD ENGAGEMENT SESSION

A lovely session with my cousin Anzel and her fiancé Jacques. We went out to a location close to our homes and photographed with the beautiful lowveld backdrop. I am very excited to photograph Anzel & Jacques wedding in June on our family farm!

NELSPRUIT ENGAGEMENT SESSION

I am so honoured to be able to photograph Hilma and Inge’s journey, starting with their engagement session, photographed in Nelspruit, at a wildlife reserve with a lucky couple of shots with the zebra’s roaming in the area. I also got to photograph Hilma’s two sweet Wirehaired Fox Terriers with the cutest little bowties. Their wedding day will follow in July by the sea. So much to look forward too.

PARIS COUPLE PORTRAITS

Anje & Pieter in Paris, you might remember them from their safari wedding in Africa, but these two have been living in Paris for the last year and on a previous visit I got a chance to do a short mini session with them. We woke up early to get a couple of portraits of them at the Eiffel and then went on to the Louvre Gardens. Hope you enjoyed your year of Paris! xoxo

This beautiful couple got married in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, a place that is close to where I grew up. Likweti is a beautiful game farm in the Whiteriver area. Pieter & Anje had an absolutely beautiful summers day - the weather was as perfect as this beautiful couple!

My brother Stefan & his wife, Chelaine, tied the knot in the Lowveld this August. It was a beautiful wedding on a very chilly day, but we had an amazing team who put everything together!

FLORAL DREAM SUMMER PLACE WEDDING

So Happy that I got to shoot this wedding, planned & styled by beautiful friend, Eve from the wonderfully Splendid Wedding Company! Hanging florals and a beautiful reception is what dreams are made of, oh wait, I forgot to mention this stunning couple, Andy & Amanda, (and 5 kids) they all looked beautiful.

Second last wedding for the 2016, is a first for me. This was my first wedding (in the 12 years of being a wedding photographer), that I shot at Summer Place in Johannesburg. I have done 2 styled shoots and shot the wedding friends event here, but that is where it ends.

Chris & Victoria had a stunning wedding day this summer in Johannesburg at Shepstone Gardens, the day was designed and styled by Eve from Splendid Wedding Company. The gorgeous floating floral arch at the ceremony site was an instant favourite and the brides sleek wedding dress with back detail took everyone’s breath away, it was a perfect way to get back into the wedding season.
